PLAY Arezzo Art Festival, organized by the Comune and Provincia of Arezzo, Regione Toscana, Associazione Bluesin and Metamusic, presents for its third edition the theme of the VOYAGE.

The Voyage will be the leading theme, but also the protagonist of the performances  in the different sections of the Play Art Festival 2009: music, theatre, litterature, cinema, dance and multimedia.
As for its geographical meaning, the voyage represents a basic element of our times. Today it is possible to Igo from one place to the other if not phisically, at least through the web. The boundaries have shortened and cultures have approached one to the other. Compairison, discovery, shift: the voyage enriches your soul other than restores it.
During the Festival, this theme will be developed through different forms of art, music, theatre, litterature and photography, As, in the end, each artistic creation has a lot of things in common with the voyage: the will to go somewhere else, to explore, to discover.

PLAY Arezzo Art Festival is a place where artists from different fields meet, an Art Festival with actors, authors, playmakers, different creative people, whi play a major role in the Festival and the city is the heart of tall these creative events. Arezzo just becomes an ideal place for its architecture and beauty.
